The transcribed story of the violence that moved West with America, and the man who moved with it.
Chester is late, and Matt is a little disgruntled with him. The sheriff from Abilene comes in with word about a murderer coming to town. Matt is a little worried at the sheriff’s confidence.
Later, during a casual moment with Kitty, Matt is confronted in a tense scene with the forewarned killer before he heads out to face down the other sheriff. Chester heads out for the Abilene sheriff. Gunshots ring out, and the sheriff goes down. Look out bad guy. Mat Dillon’s on the way.
There’s a face off, and… Mat gets shot? Say it aint so! Can Doc patch him up? Will Chester take revenge? Does the killer have a free reign to go on a murdering spree?
While Matt recovers, he discovers the gunman’s weakness. He has to push the limit, and work his shooting arm, but sooner than is comfortable to Doc and Chester, he’s ready for a face off. There’s a saying in gunfighter circles, “it’s better to be accurate than fast.” Wyat Earp is quoted about what required to survive a gunfight. “Take your time, but hurry up in doing it.”
Listen in and see if Matt has what it takes under pressure to handle this fast drawing killer.
