Saturday afternoon finds Connie making big arrangements in the kitchen. She is getting Easter baskets ready for the big day. Harriet stops by to talk about fashions for the Easter parade. Later, Walter has a new formula for dying eggs, and wants Miss Brooks to be the first to try his product. It sounds like a great formula, but it’s still highly experimental. Surely, nothing can go wrong… can it?
Stretch Snodgrass visits with a special gift, a stuffed Easter bunny. That is, A real stuffed bunny, straight from the taxidermist. With Connie’s back turned, he does her a favor to help with her washing. Instead, he manages to get the dy formula mixed up. All that’s left now, is a day of mixed up Easter fun. The dye has been swapped with some facial soap.
