Burns and Allen – George Sings at a Bond Rally in Boston. 441114.

As they get ready for the upcoming War Bond drive, Gracie adores George’s singing, as he tries to remain humble over it. Singer, James Nelson appears and is to sing in Boston. A fact that gets under Gracie’s skin since in her ears nobody sings as well as George. After a confrontation from Gracie, James Nelson sings, Holiday for Strings. Hey, I didn’t even know there were any lyrics for that one.

With all the high praise that Gracie lays on George, a situation arises where George and James are to change places. After swapping song techniques, James again takes time to sing, Amor Amor Amor.

It’s looking as though George won’t be taking over for James anytime soon, until Gracie manages to kidnap the music needed for the concert. George and James finally get to face off musically on the stage.
