Fibber McGee and Molly – Policeman’s Ball, uncle Sycamore’s Pistol. ep404, 440516

To get away from work, Fibber plans on going to the Elk’s club. Finding uncle Sycamore’s pistol, Fibber wants to take it to be repaired. Alice Darling is impressed to hear about the old indian fighter. Fibber and Molly get confused over masquerades and mascara. Beulah is looking good, and just loves that man. Billy Mills plays, I’ll Get By.

The cops come knocking, but is Fibber jumping to conclusions regarding bad news? They’re just selling tickets to the ball, but soon take an interest in uncle Sycamore’s pistol. Mr Wellington pops in with word from the fire department. The nosey cops proceed to go through the McGee’s valuables until Harlowe Wilcox arrives to pitch the sponsor.

The gruff, nosy, and unlikeable cops try to force Fibber to open his closet, then The Kingsmen sing, Old Dan Tucker.

Usually eager to bicker with Fibber, even Doc Gamble seems to take sides against the cops. Will they sell any tickets? Will Hogan obey Molly’s command to stop wearing his hat indoors? Will they ever get Fibbers closet open? Beulah saves the day when the truth about the cops comes out.

Incredible! This blog looks just like my old one!
It’s on a entirely different topic but it has pretty
much the same layout and design. Excellent choice of colors!
