Shadow – Murder In The Death House. 400107

A citizens committee is organized to clean up crime, and corruption. Margot Lane is enthusiastic at being part of it, and drags her boss, Lamonte Cranston along to the meeting. Running late, they tune the speaches in on the radio, reporting on a notorious criminal who now sits on death row.

Is there any weight to the inmates claim that he’ll be getting out, and escaping the electric chair? Gorne is cocky and unrepentant to the end. What about his threats to the warden and other officials?

Lamont poses as a book author, who wants to be locked up on death row for his research. As a guard, he gets a closer look at Gorne, and tries to learn his secret in the botched execution. Who’s the big boss… the brain?

The Shadow has enough to go on to do his invisible work. He’s not in time to stop the prison break, but the Shadow knows what to do next. Before the boss can be brought down, Margots life may hang in the balance.
