As Cisco and Pancho visit the town, Cisco goes on about how he loves the wild outdoors, but Pancho questions the fancy style of dress that Cisco has put on. Along their walk, they find a wallet full of money. Being honest men, the two begin looking for it’s owner, who just happens to be one of a team that plans to rob the bank.
With Cisco in town, the robbers change their plan. They try to feed the sheriff a line that they are the honest ones, and it was Cisco who tried to steal the wallet. Will the sheriff believe their story? In the confrontation, a fight ensues, but the robbers plan seems to have worked when Cisco rides fast out of town.
Now it’s easy pickings when they do the bank job, and even manage to pin it on Cisco. Though he’s innocent, it looks like Cisco might take the blame, and be hanged for the deed. Can Cisco think fast enough to get himself out of this one? It’s not enough to just be honest, it will take some smarts to defend himself.
Once he can prove himself, it’s just the simple matter of a chase on horseback to run down the bad guys.
