Lone Ranger – Ranger Beats the Rope. 410917

In the early West, Pony Express riders were chosen for their bravery, and rode through harsh territory. In Buffalo Gap a man faces his sentence before the judge. He is found guilty, and will be hanged. Todd proclaims his innocence, but all the evidence was against him, not only does the sheriff have trouble believing he is guilty, so does the Lone Ranger.

The Lone Ranger tells the sheriff about evidence that could clear Todd, and demonstrates how he was set up, but time is needed to locate more hard evidence. What is needed is for the sheriff to request a stay of execution from the governor. A letter is rushed off in the Pony Express, and the rider is even more determined when he is a friend of Todd, and realizes that his mail pouch has that letter requesting the stay of execution.

The bad guys can’t stop the letter from going out, but they plan an ambush for it’s answer. Helping the sheriff gather his evidence, Lone Ranger finds the main suspects missing. He speeds away on Silver to chase after them. Will he be able to intercept the bad guys before they intercept the Pony Express rider? Their trail is a hard one to track, but soon the Lone Ranger knows where to head.

It looks like the bad guys just might succeed this time. Even if the Lone Ranger can get the letter from the bad guys, he will have a hard ride ahead of him to beat the clock, and get the letter to the judge on time.
