My Little Margie – Margie Gets Freddie A Job. ep73, 1955

It’s morning in the penthouse apartment, and after a evening out in the nightclubs, Vern suffers from a terible headache. Mrs Odet pops in to see how Vern is feeling, and both she and Margie are concerned that Vern is getting old. Freddie joins the fun and jokes about Vern’s health. The jokes about health and aging turn to Freddie’s lack of a job.

At Vern’s office, Margie tries to persuade Mr Honeywell to give Freddie a job. No luck there, so it’s off to the streets. Frank Nelson is a personell manager with a potential job for Freddie, but he’s more interested in Margie.

At home Connie tries her hand at persuading Vern to hire Freddie to work for him. Has Freddie found a job on his own? Now that Freddie is gone in the afternoons as a working man, Margie is feeling lonely. Even Vern is beginning to miss Freddie.

Mr Honeywell has had a sudden change of mind about Freddie, and wants to add him to his team of investment consultants. Can Freddie be lured into the company, and leave his job behind? Will Honeywell be disapointed? Margie has a little trick up her sleeve to work it all out.
