Dark and turbulent times ruled the land, and with oppressive government leaders. Matthew gripes at his wife Sara about an adopted son who he isn’t pleased with, and a knock comes at the door of their inn. It’s bad news that Roman soldiers are looking for the boy for throwing a stone at them. With all their troubles, and no room in the inn, all they can do is offer the new travellers their stable for the night.
Will the Roman soldiers disturb the travelling carpenter and his wife? Will the errant boy get help for his misdeeds? Shepherds arrive on the scene with a wonderful story about stars, and angels. Though a message of peace and salvation is told, what ever will become of that boy, Barabbus?
