The planet seemed to be an underdeveloped backwater with no life on it. Then a junkyard was spotted. The exploratory spaceship took a chance, landed, but now is plagued with engine trouble, and a case of amnesia among the technicians in the crew. Whatchya mean they forgot how to restart the engines? How could you forget how to do that? It’s only the beginning of the wierd occurances that begin showing up in the rocket and it’s crew.
Where are the people of Planet 9, and how did this junkyard get here? As the strange events unfold, it becomes a matter of sloppy human nature triumphing over applied technology to get the rocket off the ground. Also a matter of human superiority over any mere alien civilization.
While not without losses, the rocket and crew take off for the safety of outer space, and have lessons to chalk up. ‘
