Wild Bill and Jingles ride the trail, and find a man who is near death. He doesn’t survive long enough to say who killed him, but there’s plenty of evidence to go on.

Back to the show. The dead man is the sheriff who sent for them to take care of some local trouble. Amid upset citezens in town, the sheriff’s daughter faces the bad news of her dad’s murder.

Bill and Jingles get the scoop on what the problem is. Water has been cut off for the homesteaders where it passes through Sentinel Ridge. What can Bill do about the water rationing? The new property owner, Drago, refuses to let anyone have access to the water that flows through his land. Drago propositions the homesteaders. He’ll buy the land for a tenth of what it’s worth, but will let the farmers rent the land from him.

Bill has important news that could save the day. What plan does Bill have? We’ll find out right after another break to eat up more of those crunchy treats with the sweetening already on them. Sweeter and crispier than ever because of that pure aluminum bag they come in.
