<itunes:summary>In the home of Archie Andrews, dad enjoys reading the paper, and shares some of the top stories with mom. Except for one. It seems an old flame of his is returning to town, and mom is jealous. When dad tries to make secret plans to go on a fishing trip with a buddy, mom is suspicious. Meanwhile, Archie and Jughead talk about a Mothers Day gift, a big box of candy, and after a few samples. Archie decides on a box. The guys meet Veronica in the store, who also buys a box for her mom, and a smaller box for her dog.

Back home, there's a small mix up when Archie moves dad's fishing gear, and hides candy. Mom only overhears part of a phone conversation, finds the candy, and her suspicions of dad's old flame grow. It's the last straw for her, but what's she going to do about it? At Veronica's Archie learns that Veronica's dog is sick in the hospital. Of course, conclusions are jumped to, and Archie is sure the dog was poisoned by the candy. Hmm... He actually might not be far from the truth. Candy, especially chocolate is bad for dogs. But before I say too much, let's get back to the story.

Mom goes to confront her old rival, who has become.. well... let's say that she's twice the woman she used to be. Mom has a nice meeting with the cheerful old flame, and leaves her the box of candy that was found at the closet. The worried Archie discovers the missing candy, but misses the chance to clear up the matter when he talks to mom. Instead the ships of truth pass in the night, and Archie goes to regain the poisoned candy from the old flame. In an elaborate ruse, he manages to do better than that. With Jugheads help and to avoid a mistake, they swipe all 10 boxes of her candy. Watch out, don't mess with the fat lady's candy.

How does Archie and Jughead dispose of the tainted goods? All the boxes look alike, so all they can do is light them on fire. What a waste of chocolate. The candy may be gone, but sparks from the flames manage to set Archie's roof on fire. Can it get any worse? Archie is upset that he has no gift for Mother's Day, but his mom is forgiving of him. Veronica is upset that Archie broke her date. Archie is upset when he learns the truth about Veronica's sick dog. There's still one little problem once dad gets home and learns the hard way about the damaged roof.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>As the end of the school year comes to a close, Archie and Betty sit on the porch, talking about their Summer plans. Betty takes offense when Archie reveals his plan to go to Stevens Lake, because Veronica is going there. After some changing of minds, and having to backtrack with parents, Archie once again chages his plan when Veronica tells him that her plans have changed. Back to plan A.

Time moves on, and the teens enjoy an afternoon at camp. Archie gets the job of escorting a young gal around camp. Though he would rather take her to watch the rest of the baseball game in grogress, she prefers to take a long walking tour. The teenage gal seems to have romantic inclinations, but Archie isn't paying attention, but when she insists on going on the lake, it turns into an adventure that leads to being rescued from drowning.

Archie is annoyed, but the girl is grateful. In the end he regrets not listening to his uncle, and camp counselor, when he gave those lectures on honesty and following the rules, and Jughead ends up with the rewards that were due to Archie.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>As Archie gets ready for a date, mom is sewing, and he phones Jughead to make arrangements. Since he can't just go out with two girls, Betty and Veronica, he needs Jughead to round things out.

Dad looks over the headlines in the newspaper, and gets ready for a bath. Just as he gets dipped into the water, the phone rings. I think that must be one of those laws of the universe. While dad's back was turned, Archie takes over the tub. That universal law kicks in again and Veronica calls for Archie. Archie still manages to take over the tub again, but he's delayed when he has to run water to replace the now ice cold tub.

Will dad get his chance now that Archie is out of the tub? The trouble is that the hot water has run out, and the pipe started rattling. Dad insists on fixing the problem himself, but first he needs to make a trip to the basement to turn off the water main. Dad relays shouted instructions through the house, but his communication lines have been cut when Betty calls on the phone, and mom goes to answer it. Meanwhile dad's despair is growing when he seems to have been forgotten in the basement. The shouting is finally done, but dad finds Archie locked in the bathroom with a broken lock on the door.

To manage the escape, dad saws out a chunk off the bathroom door. Who knows why, but Archie gets his head stuck in the hole in the door. Will the ordeal be over once Archie is set free? Don't count on it. Despite his best efforts, dad has his hot water, and Archie is off on his date. Dad keeps up his song of the show, I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles, but since Archie used all the soap, it makes me wonder what he's blowing those bubbles with. Well, maybe I don't want to know afterall.

In epilog, and after dad has given up on his bath, Archie comes home from his party with soap. Soap as a prize at a high school party? I guess it could happen.</itunes:summary>

Wen the car has a flat tire, Archie and Fred get busy changing it. This ought to take only five minutes, right? When the jack is broken, Mary wants to hire a mechanic to handle the job, but Fred insists on saving money and doing it himself.

Jugheads borrowed jack is the old fashioned scissor jack, and not the new fashioned bumper jack. Not to mention, there's no handle. Archie tries to borrow a jack from Betty, but she's baking a cake that he is roped into helping with.

Back at the Andrews home, Betty brings her jack over for Fred to use. Itr doesn't work, dad gets stuck under the car, but manages to get free. A decision to hire a mechanic is made, but where's Archie? For that matter, where's Jughead? It's already bad enough but what else can go wrong? With chaos in full fever pitch, will the Andersons ever get to aunt Hatties? The frustration of the day climaxes in a surprise ending. At least it's a surprise to the Andews family.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Relax! Right out of the pages of the comic books, it's Archie and all his gang!

It's Friday and Archie needs to buy Veronica a gift for her big debut party. Dad forks over the cash so Archie gets right on the phone to order the bottle of bubble bath that he had his eye on. Archie is a little depressed and anxious over the party, but mom thinks it's because her baby is feeling sick. She orders him to take some of that nasty tasting medicine, but the bottle is empty. Of course, mom orders more from the drugstore.

Meanwhile, Veronica's mom phones to tell Mary Andrews about the party for the grown ups. Dad gets ready for the party, but he's out of hair tonic, and orders a bottle from the drugstore. I feel a big mix up coming on.

Wouldn't it be bad if all three of those store brand bottles are labeled the same way, and looked the same? The bottles arrive one by one. Mom makes Archie take a dose of medicine, and finds it isn't as bad as he remembers. Archie takes the next delivery and thinks it's his gift for the party. Veronica stops in and he gives her the aledged bubble bath early. She leaves, and Betty pops in, and gets jealous over lipstick left on Archie's face. But wait, it is soon to get wors. While Betty visits, she tells how she ordered a bottle of glue, and it will be delivered at Archies house. Who knows why, but she did, and you can bet it'll put the final kink in the mix ups. .

Later at the party, Archie and the family arrive. Veronica has bathed in her bubble bath, and now smells bad. Archie begins to hiccup soap bubbles, and dad's hair tonic has somehow gotten mixed up with glue, and his hat is stuck on his head. As everyone deals with their own personal disasters, the mystery is yet unsolved.

How will they untangle their messes? Jughead helps Archie pick up more medicine from the drugstore. Mom helps to dissolve the glue on dad's head, and the hat pops off. Archie, dad, and mom all tell what they ordered. They are a little slow in putting the pieces together, but the mystery is in the open. Everyone has learned their lessons, right? It just wouldn't be fun unless there was at least one more mix up.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>As is typical, Fred Andrews tries to read his newspaper, but mom has a request. How does a night of playing Bridge sound? Before arrangements can be made, Archie shares his windfall of two fre movie tickets. It looks like everybody has a fun night in store for them.

Archie gets giggly as he phones Veronica, but she already has a date with Reginald. Maybe Jughead will go? Of course he will, but now Veronica phones back to say her date fell through. What's an overacting teenage boy to do? Block dad from using the phone to invite his own guests over for Bridge, what else? With a lot of effort, and an attempt at tact, Archie convinces Jughead not to go to the film.

Whew, with Jughead out of the picture, all Archie has to do is confirm with Veronica, and pick her up. Simple, until Betty enters into the mix. Will dad ever get to use the phone? Will there be no end to the changing minds of Archie's friends? I feel some major confusion and chaos about to fall into the lap of good old Archie, and just when dad finally gets to use the phone.

Archie can work all this out in the end, right? Just listen in and enjoy the results of the mix up of the day.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>It's Saturday, and Archie's moping around the house has mom worried. Is he sick or something? I wouldn't be so worried about Archie's moping, not as much as that apparent eating disorder that he seems to have acquired.

When Jughead comes over, Archie shares his secret, a love that will last forever. Again. Who is the object of Archie's affection? Better yet, does she even know? Archie makes Jughead promise to keep his secret, and they run through scenes of romance as Archie tries to work out the right thing to say to his unwary love interest.

Veronica calls, and though Archie is his usual giggly self, he has to forsake her and break his date. Mom is now even more convinced that Archie is sick and makes him lay down in his room, putting a kink in his plan to meet with his true love.

With new love bursting out, Archie feels like a trapped rat in his room. He and Jughead plan their big escape. Amazingly, their noisy climb out the window, or the hyper-talkative Betty doesn't give our heros away. Do you want to know why? Archie's true love, his school teacher, is coming over to talk to Archie's parents about him. Where would the show be without a misconnection and misunderstanding? Can things get more complicated? You know it will.

Mom has ordered a visit from the family doctor, who thinks everybody is his patient. Betty spills the beans about Archie's clandestine escape, which sends the household into a round of chaos that breaks out. All the partial truths come crashing together, and the real truth is out about who is in love with who. And it doesn't involve the heartbroken Archie.

Afterwards, in his own way though, dad shares with Archie a story to let him know that he knows and understands better than Archie may have thought about lost loves. Touching, in a cartoonnie, kid show kind of way. Archie bounces back quickly though.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>On a sunny Saturday morning in Riverdale, Mary Andrews works in the kitchen. She has a picnic all planned, but Fred Andrews is starving right now. Archie is just a little too eager, but dad caves in and agrees to go. Betty pops in, is chatty, and wants to go for a swim. Her bubble is burst though, when Archie bows out of the swim for his picnic.

The family set out for their remote picnicgrounds, and Fred is looking forward to a quiet day, far from distractions. His peace doesn't last long when Jughead makes an appearance. No worries, there's plenty of food. That doesn't seem to be the most pressing trouble. First Jughead spots a raging bull, then the weather turns bad. What else can go wrong? In the world of Archie Andrews, plenty. I don't want to spoil all the surprises.

Will the andrews ever get to enjoy their picnic? Just when Archie has had an accident, and is picnicking in the nude, Veronica arrives, followed by Betty. Fred's peace and quiet is soon broken and chaos reigns among the teenagers as they all clash with nature. The final disaster comes from a little snafu from mom.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>It's a Summer day in Riverdale, and the temperature is rising. Fred complains to Mary about the heat, but what should he do about it? As Mary turns to her kitchen, Fred steps out to enjoy the breeze on the front porch.

Archie is in high spirits, and plans to play some baseball with his friends. What dad needs is a tall, cool, glass of lemonade. Since Mary is busy defrosting the fridge, there's no ice. Dad send Archie over to get ice cubes from Betty's house. Dad gets more good advice when Jughead suggests getting a fan to keep cool.

Not finding any icubes, Archie returns with a block of ice, that turns into a goofy game of hot potato... er cold potato? As he, dad, and mom juggle the freezing block among themselves. Betty pops in, and is in a chatty mood. Betty has her own idea of keeping cool, just turn on a lawn sprinkler. Hmm... I feel a problem coming on, especially once Jughead returns with is electric fan and Betty sprinkles dad with water.

It's commercial time. When the sponsor gets all wet, dad decides the sprinkler is too dangerous. Veronica pops in with her own advice, putting Fred's feet in a bucket of water. Dad leaves to find the bcket. Jughead shows off his handywork in fixing his fan, but before he can, dad spills his bucket of water. There's still an accident brewing, and the overacting teens create enough chaos to distract dad into finding it.

Not to mention that mom has phoned the doctor over the earlier fall with the bucket, and now dad has to go in for a visit of heat treatments from his inured back.</itunes:summary>

In Riverdale today, Fred Andrews has his newspaper reading interupted by Mary Andrews with a request to wallpaper the living room. Dad is all for hiring the job out, until he learns how much it will cost. Mary has the wallpaper already picked, so all dad has to do is to send Archie out to pick it up.

Though dad and mom Andrews get the furniture pushed away from the walls, snags arise when Archie phones in from the paint store with a list of supplies, brushes, and paste that will be needed. Jughead pops in with his opinion on interior decorating. Veronica calls, and says she'll stop in to show Archie her new dress later. Fred demonstrates his own nature for accidents when the paste is spilled, rugs are cut in half, and the interuptions don't help either.

<itunes:summary>Archie Andrews - Archie Gets Dressed For A Date. 480710.

It's a typical Saturday evening in the Andrews home, with mom in the kitchen and dad trying to read his newspaper. Archie comes in singing and talking about the big dance tonight. Archie gives dad and mom a chance to check out his gladrags, then Jughead visits with his party clothes on to be admired as well.

All the fuss has Fred a little upset because his newspaper enjoyment has been disturbed. As badly as he just wants Archie to leave and have fun, the comedy of errors keep on coming. Archie has an unruly cowlick, he bumps his head in the bathroom, what else might go wrong? We'll find out right after the commercial break.

The accident prone and over reacting Archie isn't helped any by Jughead when he tries to get some ice to soothe his bump on the head. There's a general rule of mechanics that says, "if it doesn't fit, don't force it." Archie learns that concept the hard way as he creates havoc in the kitchen.

Dad arrives with a calm head, and a solution for the problem. Though Archie is in a rush, he learns a lesson in priorities and responsibility.

Still the depths of trouble an accident prone teenager can get into knows no bounds. Archie ends up with no pants on, just in time for his date, Veronica, to call. Jughead is equally accident prone and causes a power outage in the house. The doorbell rings, and it's Betty. Wouldn't it be inconvenient if the lights came back on just in time for Betty to see Archie in his undies? You know it will. Can there be anymore chaos? How about a fire, firemen, sirens, bells, and a panicky Archie. How does these things happen to him?</itunes:summary>

 <itunes:summary>Archie Andrews - Archie Fights a Cold. 480612.

In the kitchen at the Andrews home, Mary gets breakfast ready for Fred. Dad's a little groggy after their late night party. Archie isn't doing so well himself. Doctor mom declares that Archie has a cold, but he's in denial, claiming he just neneds more sleep. Dad hates to see Archie be sick, but it means that he'll have some quiet
time to read his newspaper, right after he phones for a doctor.

The doctor is out, but Jughead drops in to torment dad. Of course Jughead doesn't want to get too close to Archie and catch his cold, so he and Archie shout through the house, giving dad a headache. The phone ringsd to break dad's peace. Veronica is on the phone, and after more shouting through the house, messages are relayed to the sick but still giggly Archie. Mom phones Betty to have her bring over a vaporizer to help out with the sick Archie.

The show announcer pops in for a commercial. The commercial has made dad hungry, but his lunch will have to wait until Betty and mom take that vaporizer upstairs.

Betty phones for her doctor, but he isn't in the office either. The door bell rings and Veronica joins the fun in person. Now Veronica wants to use the phone to call her doctor, but he's out of the office too. Suddenly dad is disturbed by an unusual odor, and thinks its from Jughead. The gals all tend to Archie, and his smelly vaporizer, then the doorbell rings.

The doctor finally arives and thinks it's dad who is sick. After being poked and prodded, dad sends the doc to Archie. The doorbell rings again, and another doctor enters, then another. The doctors are all bent out of shape over the mass consultations, and ego trips abound. Soon chaos reigns, but dad manages to get control. The prognosis is that nobody is sick afterall, and dad just wants Archie to leave, and go out with his friends.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Archie Andrews - The Hiccups, A Good Nights Sleep. 480515.

It's Friday night in the Andrews home when mom is harshly awakened by a sound in the night. Upon investigation she finds Archie sound asleep, except for a sudden outburst as he snores contently. Now that Archie is awake, he tells her all about his action adventure dream he had fighting with cowboys and indians. All the story telling has dad awakened, and Archie picks up telling his dream again.

Back in bed, mom and dad have their sleep disturbed when Archie now has a bad case of hiccups. Mom tries having Archie hold his breath as she counts. Dad argues that his method is right, drinking a glass of water. Nothing seems to be working, should dad call the doctor?

The doc advises some medicine that the Andrews don't have in the house. Mom phones Betty, and she rushes right over with the bicarbonate. As Archie's hiccups persist, the show announcer rings the doorbell and delivers a commercial for the sponsor.

Once Betty arrives with the medicine Archie has stopped his hiccups by himself. The family all turn back into their beds. As silence settles in, Fred is now awakened by a dripping kitchen faucet. Fred makes the trip without the benefit of lights, trips over a vacuum cleaner, and the whole family converge on him.

Mom recommends he soak his sore toe in ice water. The lights have been switched on, luring callers from the neighborhood. This time Jughead visits after his late movie was let out. The family argue with him that they aren't arguing. Eventually Jughead leaves and the treck to bed is once again begun.

The doorbell rings, and Veronica tickles Archie's eardrums, but Betty is back to interupt and get her medicine back for her restless dad. Jughead is back after being locked out of his house. Chaos reigns, and dad has to shout the mob into submission.

Suddenly, The scene seems to have done a flip flop. Beforehand, everyone was peacefully sleeping while Archie was up. Now it's Archie who is sound asleep as the rest of the mob pick up their noise making again.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Archie Andrews - Christmas Shopping. 471213. Relax, it's time once again for your favorite comic book characters, Archie Andrews and all his gang.

It's Saturday afternoon as Fred Andrews enjoys his newspaper in the living room. Veronica phones for Archie, but since he's not home she leaves her message with Fred. She is going Christmas shopping and wants to keep it a secret from Archie. It reminds dad that he needs to rush out to finish up his own shopping. Before he can leave, Jughead and Archie get home, and dad relay's Veronica's message to meet her an hour later. The added time gives Archie time to rush out to finish his shopping as well. Mom is left home alone when the phone rings. Betty asks for Archie, but mom takes a message. The two gals are reminded that they need to do some last minute shopping as well. It looks like the whole crowd will be trampling on each other soon.

In the department store, Archie and Jughead make their way to the perfume counter, but not before annoying the floor walker, and breaking a store dummy. When Veronica shows up, Archie hides from her as Jughead talks to her. Will she spill the beans and tell what she's going to give to Archie?

Once she's gone, the floorwalker discovers Archie's hiding place and though he's not fooled by Archie's attempt at playing as a store dummy, the floorwalker thinks Archie's wearing a jacket that he hasn't bought yet. Not thinking things through, Archie plays along, and decides to take a sales slip for his jacket, exchange it for cash, then he'll have more money to spend. but now he's out of a coat.

Meanwhile dad enters the perfume department, but has to hide when mom arrives. In the process dad hides a bottle of perfume in his pocket, and the floor walker sees it. Now dad faces shoplifting charges. The floorwalker is prepared to let the incident slide, but dad has broken his perfume bottle and now has to pay for it.

Mom and Betty shop, and Mrs Andrews tries on a dress. As Mrs Anderson goes to seek advice from a store clerk, Betty puts her coat and dress on a shelf, then Jughead comes up to distract Betty with the story of the missing Archie. During the distraction, mom's coat and dress are missing. What will the floorwalker have to say when mom reports her dress missing? She is stuck running around the store in the bath robe that she had been trying on.

All the emergencies have the whole gang converging on the exchange desk. The family all demand explanations of each other, chaos reigns, but should they expose their secret shopping for the sake of untangling the mess? It seems the wise thing to do, but we're talking unrealistic cartoon people here.

The frazzled floorwalker gets his explanations and is satisfied. He manages to straighten out the mess, and even offers a few complementary gifts, courtesy of the store. Whew! Now they all can get down to doing their shopping. Maybe.</itunes:summary>

All is peaceful and quiet in Riverdale as the Andrews family relaxes at home. Suddenly a yawning fit turns contageous. If everybody is so tired, why not just go to bed? Though it's only 9 o'clock, dad insists the family get ready for bed. Lights are turned out, mom and dad are snuggly tucked into bed when Archie is suddenly wide awake.

He's too hot so he opens his window, loudly. Is there any other way for a teenage kid? After being annoying as possible to his tired parents, he decides to close his window when he gets too cold. What else can Archie bother his parents about? His alarm clock is too loud, so he takes it to dad. Now it's keeping Fred and Mary awake.

When the alarm goes off by accident, Archie is back awake, and remembers to brush his teeth. He breaks a drinking glass, and has to give a full report to mom. The water faucet starts dripping. Dad goes to shut off the water, cuts his foot, and the yelling has everybody out of bed again. The medicine cabinet is opened, and is like a miniature Fibber's closet. Medicine bottles, and sundry toiletries everywhere,

now mom and Archie set about the cleanup chores. Just wehn things are as hectic as possible, the phone rings, and Veronica calls to sweet talk Archie while dad is bleeding to death from his scratched foot. As mom heads upstairs to rescue dad, Archie has to answer the door to talk with Jughead, who loudly tells about an action movie, then slips on a wet mess in the living room floor.

The doorbell rings again, and Betty gets an eye full of Jughead without pants on and the rest of the family in their night clothes. A general melee breaks out. With everyone's bloodpressure up, will anybody ever sleep again? Somehow I doubt it, at least not during this episode.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Archie Andrews - The Red Cross Benefit.

Dad is happily reading his newspaper, and doesn't want to share any of the sections with Archie. To get rid of him, dad slips Archie some cash to see a movie. Though Archie couldn't budge him, mom comes in with a chore to get dad moving. Veronica's mom phones to invite Mary and Fred to a party to support the Red Cross. Fred doesn't want to go, but mom gives him the strokes he needs to change his mind.

Dad tries to practice his comedy routine for the party, but the noise in the house drives him nuts. By now, Archie has returned from his movie, and contributes to the noise level. Archie comes into the kitchen with a crying fit, so mom makes dad apologize to him. It's just onions though.

Between onions, and noise, will dad ever get his practice in? Not when Jughead comes over and helps Archie do their best Al Jolson impersonations. Betty comes over to referee the guys. Veronica visits to talk with the giggly Archie, and makes Betty jealous. The argument leaves Archie without a date. Meanwhile, dad is looking forward to an enjoyable evening at the Lodge's Red Cross Party.

The party begins to run dry, so it's up to Fred Andrews to save the day with his funny stories. Even at the party, dad gets upstaged when Archie and Jughead take their Al Jolson minstrel show on the road, or at least to Veronica's house. Despite all the annoying attempts at singing earlier, Archie does a pretty decent job at singing the Jolson hit, Sonny Boy.</itunes:summary>

 <itunes:summary>Archie Andrews - The Hammock. 460720.

Relax! It's another fun adventure with Archie and all his gang.

On a nice sunny Saturday, Archie gives mom a hard time about doing the chores, and wants to go swimming with his friends instead. She lets him off the hook, so Archie makes phone calls. Things just don't go well when all Archies friends all have other plans. I guess he gets to get busy on all those chores mom wanted him to do.

When Jughead's sunburn isn't so bad that he can't come by, he convinces Archie to relax with a hammock. Veronica seems to have changed her plans, but Archie just spent the last of his money on his hammock, and can't afford to take her swimming. Can he return it, or sell it?

When the store won't exchange it, Veronica tries to help, but all Archie's friends aren't in the market for a hammock. Maybe Veronica's dad can help? It's not looking good, so Archie sends Veronica away on her date with Reggie. I suppose there's nothing left to do but enjoy that hammock afterall. Let the mix ups begin.

Archie discovers that his trees are too far apart. Dad has decided a hammock will hit the spot, and upon returning from the store with his new hammock, he finds the trees on the other side of the house are too close together. Using mom as a way to shout requests back and forth, they vie for the same tools and materials to rig up a ppost to hold the other end of their hammocks.

Besides the challenge of building the hammocks, there are more problems that arise, and the building, shouting, and shareing continue. Archie's hammock is finally put up, and Betty stops by to burst his bubble, and tell about dad's hammock on the front lawn. For some reason that I certainly don't understand, Archie is upset and tears down his hammock, and gives it to Betty.

Can you guess what dad does when Veronica stops by the front door to tell about Archie's hammock? Wow, how wierd.

With all the self imposed hammock frustration, mom comes home with her own hammock. At least she was smart enough to buy one with it's own stand.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Archie Andrews - Masked Marvel. 460706. Relax, here he is again. Archie Andrews.

Today Jughead and Archie are planning to go swimming. They are spotted by bully, Butch Mogonigal. Archie gets knocked down, but to defend himself in the future, he gets a book on boxing to learn self defense. Betty stops over to help Archie with his boxing, but he learns that he isn't as invulnerable as he suspected.

Meanwhile mom and pop Andrews discuss a dinner party that they invited Mrs Lodge over to. When the Lodge's arrive with Veronica, she talks with Archie, who has taken more lessons from the book. He feels more confident and brags to her about it ability. Archie is so great, at least at bragging, that Veronica lures him into fighting that well known boxer that is coming to Riverdale, the Masked Marvel. Uh-oh. Should Archie try to get out of the fight, or go through with it and face certain death?

As Archie and Jughead make up their mind, the unmasked Masked Marvel stops in for a chocolate soda. Archie treats the big Russian bruiser to some tasty American treats, and ends up getting the fighter sick of a belly ache. The fight promoter is in desperate need for a new fighter. Who can he get? To make his chances better at winning, he drags Jughead into being stand in for the Masked Marvel.

At the fights, Jughead has good luck when the Masked Marvel returns, feeling better now. Which means, of course, that Archie is going to have some bad luck and is about to get clobbered. Archie is a little overconfident, but at least he has ignorance on his side. The announcer gives a good blow by blow report of Archie as he does his best to avoid being hurt. He survives the first round before learning Jughead is in the crowd. Can he survive just 2 more rounds?

At home the radio is turned on long enough to hear that Archie is fighting, the Lodges are offended, and dad is off to have a word with his boy. Meanwhile, back in the boxing ring, Archie has discovered the Masked Marvels weakness, and exploits it to his best advantage. What is that weakness? What will dad have to say to Archie about his latest antics? It seems to make a difference in dad's attitude when he learns that Archie won the match.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Archie Andrews - Nazi POW In Riverdale. 450623. For Archie it's always a matter for an emergency, but do you know what he needs to do? Just relax.

Today in Riverdale, Fred and Mary Andrews sit around the breakfast table, discussing troubles that surround their lives, and get into an arguement. When a headline catches the eye of Archie, he reads that a Nazi POW has escaped, and may be lurking around Riverdale. He is worried, but has heroic dreams of capturing the prisoner.

When Archie skips out on school to tail the man that he sees lurking around, Betty and Jughead sneak along with him as he spots his likely suspect. They spy on him and follow him around, fearing that he may blow up the school. Is that a bad thing, or a good thing? In Riverdale, its bad, definitely bad.

The small band of teenagers see their chance and pounce. Meanwhile, elsewhere in Riverdale Fred gets the bad news that his business appointment has gone missing, and a car is stolen. Could this be the same man, and car that our young heros are recklessly driving through town to take their prisoner to the police station in? Imagine their surprise to be arrested for the theft of a car. Now the mystery behind the missing school official, and man who was to meet with Fred Andrews remains. I'll bet nobody checked the car did they?

Archie and his friends are bailed out of jail, but nobody is listening to his story about Nazi's. Is there any Nazis actually in Riverdale? Why is the car missing again? And why hasn't that missing school official turned up yet? The harmless, unrelated incidents all come to a head when a real Nazi actually does appear as the plot thickens.

Paths converge, but will the cops and Archie be able to catch up with the missing car, and it's passengers? Will I be giving anything away if I say the unlikely phrase, "Carbon monoxide to the rescue?"</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Archie Andrews - Archie Is Locked Out Of The House. v Mom and dad are returning home after a bridge game, but neither seem to have a key to get in. Simple, just ring the bell and wake up Archie. Too bad, Archie isn't inside. When he does arrive, he doesn't have his key either. Now what? Climb in a window?

Matters get more frustrating when the phone starts ringing, but nobody can answer it. The problems stack up when the only open window is on the top floor, and the ladder is locked in the basement. Think that's the only complication? Somehow Jughead ends up in a locked room in the basement, the phone keeps ringing, the borrowed extension ladder is too complicated to use, Jughead gets panicky. Did I mention that pesky phone that keeps ringing?

When the cops stop, dad has to explain that he isn't breaking in. When Betty and Veronica show up, the situation reaches maximum disaster. Do they ever get in? And who was calling on the phone the whole time?

Archie was a Saturday morning radio show for kids, as well as a popular comic strip.</itunes:summary>
