Betty is in full drama queen mode. Jim doesn’t see the point in the drama over somebody in a news article who wasn’t named. Combined with Bud and Cathy, the kid’s questions work to drive Jim’s good mood far from him.
In trying to figure out who it was that the family vacationed with, it’s Jim’s turn to be curious. What was the name of those boys who were with them? With all the rampant curiosity, will the family miss their night out with the Liggit’s
Jim is distracted, and still trying to figure out those names, and Margret chews him out for not being sociable at the Liggit’s. Isn’t there somebody he can call and ask? Not even his friend hector likes to be awakened at 2AM for a silly question. A midnight snack may not help, but it manages to summon the family to the kitchen. Will anybody ever remember that name?
