There’s no show opening, and background music. We find Marlowe arriving at the waterfront dive, with fists flying. He’s looking for Max Louderback, but finds a dark haired, green eyed dame. Her parrot, Captain Macgregor, breaks the tension as Philip learns what he can about Pirate’s Cove. Dafnety needs to find her missing crewman so she canset sail for treasure hunting.
The trail through the clues, and shady characters leads to Ted Peterson, another crew member. Who wants the crew dead? Can Marlowe manage to keep them all safe? The bodies begin to pile up as Marlowe races against the clock.
Dead ends seem to be all that Marlowe can find. It could call for some head thumping, fist fighting action for Marlowe. It might also turn up more dead bodies. The dirt on some internal friction in Dafney’s crew is uncovered. And danger is in store for Phillip before Dafney sails into the sunset.
