After jumping the gun on promising Lum’s house to the widow Jessup, the gents get settled in to try and scare them out. Will a crew of bed sheet covered ghosts do the trick? Will Lum’s rumors that his house is haunted have time to circulate back to the widow?
Abner is terrified by the rumors, and stories Charlie Redfield has told about ghosts. Abner feels blindfolded by the sheet over his head. Tearing bigger eye holes might help him see better, but could lead to trouble for Lum. He borrowed the sheets from aunt Charity.
Where’s Cedric? Shouldn’t he be here by now? It’s time to spring into action. How does a ghost tap at windows?
What’s that sound? Are there two ghosts coming? Cedric is revealed as one ghost, and Mousey is the other.
