A report is given to tell how the search for the missing Barney and Willie went, and the fruitless search thus far. Elsewhere, Cain and Ardala recap how they have managed to avoid being trailed. Their prisoner, Barney talks with his captors and a review of how Willie was sent out on his own with a message.
To keep Barney tame, our villains have been using the psychic restriction ray on him. Cain plans that the message that Willie is taking will lure Buck Rogers into a wild goose chase in the opposite direction. Cain reviews some of the gadgets and inventions that were stolen, and how they will help him in his get away. Sure enough, Buck thinks the rocket trail that has been found is Cain’s, but it’s just the fake one that he created with those new inventions.
All the while, Doc has been searching for more of the secret ingredient, Impentrite, to make more inventions.
