Cain and Ardellah are till hiding out with their stolen weapons, and with Barney under their mind control. Back in the lab, Buck and Wilma talk with Doctor Hewer about getting back on the rocket trail of their enemies. As they depart in a rocket plane outfitted with a replacement Gyro cosmic Relatavator, Willie and Doc talk about a plan to help with the search. Doc puts a radio message out on the system. What is it? We’re sure to find out later.
Meanwhile, Barney is still under control of Cain, and is sent out to pick up supplies and weapons. Cain thinks he still has the only Gyro Cosmic Relatavator in existence, but he’s still being cautious. As arrangements are being made, Barney turns on the radio in his rocket plane and hears a message. It’s a news flash about Willies crashed rocket roadster. The claim is that he’s missing and there’s a search on for him. Will it help spark emotions in Barney over the loss of his friend? Why was Willie the only one in the report of missing people and not Barney?
Cain thinks he’s in the clear since Willie never made it back to tell about their location. Buck and wilma talk about the radio message, and understand what Doc has done, as they keep hot on the rocket trail. Doc sends them a message to say that Cain may be able to discover their secure radio channel soon, and that he is going away for a little while on a scientific mission.
Just when the trail is as hot as can be, it mysteriously vanishes. What happened? What can it mean? It means to stay tuned for more of the exciting adventure.
