Cedric ponders over why he can’t just spread his arms and fly. It could save him a lot of gasoline, but he figured out that flying just won’t work. One problem he foresees with that whole flying ordeal is how to turn corners up in the air. there’s nothing to put your feet on, and push off.
Squire enters after having time to study up on a loophole for the contest. How about creating an imaginary, third woman, and selling votes for her to win. As they hash out the details of how to do it, the gents manage a review of the mess, and how they got into it. A huge campaign to swing votes to the mysterious Mabel Melrose is concocted.
