21st Precinct – Barge Sinking in East River.

The call comes in about a gravel barge that’s sinking. Checking out the situation, and traffic blockage, the focus turns to a domestic dispute. Captain Canelli learns about Mrs Linley, who wants her furniture from her apartment. The problem is that the superintendent won’t let her in without her husband’s permission.

Confiding to Canelli, the superintendent tells that Mrs Linley often leaves her husband, but returns in a few days. Is she entitled to take her own things or not? Phone calls are made, and finally permission is given for Mrs Linley to take whatever she wants.

As Canelli returns to the station, he offers voiceover to relate some of the administrative chores he does. Mr Linley is soon on hand to report that his wife cleaned him out, and took everything, including his stuff. Can they find her to get it back? Turns out that the supervisor is up in arms again. After instructions to not let Mrs Linley back in, she is back with the movers to put her things back. Should Mr Linley stand for it, or not? Should the Linley’s sftay together, or call it quits?
