Mr Helmann, and Mr Davis have a little bargain. Davis is being portrayed by Ernest Chapel, and after being shot during a robbery, Davis is taken to a back room doctor. It seems that Helmann has slipped up, a matter that seems to give Davis the upper hand. What kind of a barrel does he have Helmann over? What about the cowardly Mr Dante? How does he play into the awkward situation?
The veiled language, and name choices should make it clear that Joe Davis is dead by mistake, and Helmann is the devil who has been outwitted. Who knew. if you die, and Go to the devil by mistake, and needle him enough, he’ll help you with a favor… yeah right. I guess there’s a housing shortage down there as well, and a deal is made to put Davis back on earth.
Back on earth, Davis enjoys all the money the devil sends his way, but he goes out of his way to avoid the man he has been sent back to kill. A dame sparks the move that gets Davis murdered again, and it’s back to his apartment… um… let’s just say, down under, and I don’t mean Australia. Will there be another deal? mMurdered for the third time? Let’s just say that Davis won’t be going back to Helmann… at least not as his guest, in that nice apartment. It seems the living quarters, and guest status has been reduced.
