Our Miss Brooks – Rival Football. 491002.

Since the outset of the school year, one topic dominates in school social life, football. Walter Denton proclaims that he’s determined to join his friend Stretch to win a letter on the football team. In school, Mr Conklin drops the news that he has plans to pull a fast one on his rival school principal, Mr Brill. Instead a situation has been created to put the football championship season in the favor of Clay City.

A top notch coach will be on the Clay City faculty, and Madison High’s star player, Stretch Snodgrass has plans to move in with his aunt. A location that could be within the Clay City jurisdiction. What can the hypertensive, slow burning, Mr Conklin do about it? What can he rope Miss Brooks into doing to keep Stretch at Madison High?

Mr Conklin isn’t above doing some of his own underhanded deeds to save the school’s championship chances. Some interesting, confusing, and funny role playing is set in place. It’s all to win out over the rival school at Clay City. Interesting mix ups cause the plans to fall apart, but you know how it works, the situation always seems to favor Miss Brooks, and the day is saved.
