Lum and Abner – Winifred Redfield Testifies. 430106

The expected close of the trial finds an extra large crowd in Ira Hodgkins barn… er the courtroom. Squire is ready to call his final witness, as long as the distraught Winifred Redfield can stand the strain. The giggling Winifred seems more giddy than stressful. How will her statement affect Cedric’s future?

Squire does his best to put words in her mouth, as he builds the toughest case he can. Abner takes the floor to cross examine. The mooing cows, and grandpap’s squeaking shoes return, but has Squire found his own way to evade the cross examining?

Taking a recess, Lum calls Abner aside to discuss their next step in the trial. Should they call in Wimpy Foster? Should they get Cedric on the stand? Should they… wait… there could be a surprise conclusion that nobody expected.
