Lum and Abner – Club Discusses The Mona Lisa. 421229

Seeking a diversion from the trial of Cedric, the gents are ready for another meeting of the Golden Era Discussion Club to raise the level of ignorance in Pine Ridge. The meeting is under way, and the minutes are being read. Is there a dispute over what the topic last week actually was?

The fussing at one another is put to a stop by Lum. When Cedric arrives, Abner and grandpap comment how Ulysses keeps making excuses to not meet at his place. Little Pearl keeps sneaking peeks at Cedric. He has become quite infamous and a curiosity in her eyes as the subject of a trial.

The topic is ready for discussion when Ulysses arrives. Lum hopes he’s in a brainy mood again tonight. The topic: The Mona Lisa. Grandpap wonders if Leonardo Divinci lives somewheres over near Cherry Hill. He’s a painter? Ulysses is in the constant need to have his barn painted. Why not just look at the painting? What will the gents have to say about one of the greatest masterpieces of all time? Wait a minute. Was it the picture that was hung, or Mona Lisa who was hung? She doesn’t look like a criminal.
