Heading off to Cairo, Steve Mitchell needs to ensure that a sheik will remain on friendly terms with the United States. Will the old friendship between Steve and the sheik be enough to calm the hornets nest of troubles? There has been a shake up in the sheik’s inner circle, and even formerly trusted officials have been banned from seeing him. Will Steve have any better luck?
Nobody knows where the sheik has gone. American entertainers are a popular hit with the locals, and Steve wonders how he might use a voice impersonator for his benefit. He also plays on his poker playing connection with his old sheik friend.
The bluffs are all in place, and all there is for Steve to watch the players squirm, and run for protection. Will he learn where the sheik is? If he does will he have any hope of getting an audience with him? Regardless, a situation of international upheaval is diverted, and a scandal brought to light.
