As Britt rides to town to look for his next job, he encounters a peddlar, and a household made up of Cindy and her step sisters and step mom. There’s a big party to welcome back a young gent who went off to college, but the plainly dressed Cindy won’t likely be going. It takes a little help from Britt and the pedlar, but Cindy gets all fixed up to go.
If this doesn’t ring a bell yet, it’s a Western version of Cinderella. Will Britt be her fairy godmother? Will he offer a coach made from a pumpkin, and make white mice into footmen? Not exactly, but enjoy the tale as it unfolds, and young love finds itself at the dance.
Not all is well in the paradise of the party, but just as with Cinderella, Cindy and her prince have a meeting the day after to clear things up. Don’t count on any glass slippers, but fancy foot wear does play a part.
PS: I almost overlooked this episode that should have been posted several weeks ago. It had a wrong date on it, and I didn’t realize it until now. This represents the last of this excellent Western series, and I hope you enjoyed it.
