Jack Benny – Artists And Models Abroad. 380612.

The scene goes live to Jack’s dressing room at the movie studio where he is making a new film. Rochester is on hand to give Jack a hard time over his clothing, quality of dressing room, and life in genral. Jack complains about the classiness of his dressing room when Phil enters to learn of Jack’s latest wardrobe malfuncion. Kenny phones in, so Jack tunes in the radio to hear Kenny sing, Why Haven’t I Told You. Hey, wasn’t that song done again by someone in the 1960’s?

As Jack awaits his leading lady, Joan Bennet, the rest of the cast pop in to see what’s happening, and to tease Jack. When Joan arrives, she and Mary have a minor moment of friction. Sassy, and cute.

Phil plays some travelling music and the gang all go to the studio to witness a scene from Jack’s latest film. At the studio, the gang keep up their teasing of Jack as they have run ins with studio executives who can’t remember names.

Real life director of the film, Mitch Lightner is on hand to help the rehearsal of Jack and Joan’s lines. The gang gets to watch the fun, and makes jokes as the scene unfolds. Finally, Jack is left hanging. Literally, he’s hanging out the window, as the cast all take a break.

Don offers more Jello recipe tips, and a closing epilog has Jack and Mary going on a double date with Joan and Mitch.
