The professor enters to complain about Mrs Riley, and joke around about Irma. Can the professor cheer Irma up? Irma is suggested to test the waters with a cheap pair of glasses from the Dime store. If Al doesn’t totally reject her, she promises to get real ones. Though Al teases her, he shows his true colors and tries to be complimentary towards Irma. Will it work? Will Irma’s feelings be hurt beyond repair?

Jane and Mrs Riley develop a plan to soothe Irma. Al shares his latest business idea, but helps out to try to convince Irma to be reasonable. Will all her friends convince Irma to get her eyes checked? Will Jane’s elaborate measures be worth the hassles?

The fun keeps on going when Irma visits the eye doctor for her exam. It turns out that Irma’s eyes are fine, and the real reason behind her headaches comes out.
