Dean and Jerry talk about their season broadcasting from New York in radio, but Jerry gets alittle sidetracked. Dean opens by singings, sunflower from the Sunflower State.

As Jerry continues talking about the new season in New York, Florence the secretary enters to put in her two cents worth on being in the city. Is she for real? It seems that Jerry had taken her to a baseball game, but she still isn’t sure what took place, so Jerry tries again to tell her some of the nuances of the game.

Florence continues to tell about her date with Jerry, and a shopping trip. After Florence leaves, Jerry shares a few pointers with Dean about the birds and the bees.

Dean talks with Jerry about being on his best behavior when their guest, Madeline Carol visits. Dean tries to give Jerry a lesson on how to kiss a girl, and how to behave around Madeline. Jerry is a little wound up, but Madeline thinks he’s cute. Madeline talks a little about her roles she is playing on the stage, and Jerry waxes eloquent as he tries to understand.

Jerry claims to have a message to deliver to Madeline from Bob Hope, a kiss. They talk about kissing, and about how various stars might do it. The big moment comes, and Jerry gets to kiss her, although I think that deep down Madeline was hoping it was coming from Dean.

A drama begins about young lovers in love. A man enters the office of the editor to the love lorn, Madeline Carol. She offers Jerry some advice. Jerry then calls on a gal at her home. He offers her candy, but the intimate moment is interupted when Dean moves in on the action.

In another scene, Dean is a sailor on the street as Jerry plays a girl on the street. Dean has been at sea for a long time, but will he be desperate enough to go for Jerry? Finally a scene in a dance hall, where Jerry tries to impress Madeline with his rumba.
