Where has the chauffeur of the 75 year old woman gone? Philip detects something amiss with Mrs Cadwell, and her sister Tilda, but he sets out to unravel the mystery any how.
Stevens isn’t hard to find. Will he get back in touch with the elderly ladies? There’s still something odd in the job that Marlowe has been hired to do, but he can’t quite put his finger on the right question to have answered. Clues slowly emerge that involve stolen jade pieces.
