So far the new greeting card business hasn’t had any print jobs. That doesn’t stop Lum, and Abner from composing a few possible verses. Its proving to be more difficult than Abner thought. Lum thinks the kind of greetings that are less common to say would be the trick. Something like a customized novelty saying.
Grandpap needs a card for a graduation. What brainstorm ideas will Lum and Abner come up with? They are almost a genius at the greeting business, but grandpap thinks it ought to be fancier somehow.
After several re-writes, grandpap seems satisfied. He pays their fee, but why wouldn’t he want any cards printed of the snazzy saying?
