Jack is celebrating Easter with his squeaky new clothes. He talks about Phil’s disgraceful taste in fashion. Mary tells about the attraction of Jack in the Easter parade this morning. Kenny has a confession to make. It turns into Jack’s chance to poke fun at his rival, Fred Allen. Mary writes a last moment poem while Kenny Baker sings, Donkey Serenade.
Don’s commercial gives Mary a few extra moments to finish, then she reads her Easter Poem, O Happy Easter. Jack surprises the cast by cutting the show short, to invite them to see the circus. Andy Devine joins the fun, but first tells about his aunt joining the circus as the bearded lady. Phil is left in charge, complete with an interruption at the door before he plays some snappy traveling music.
The cast take in the side shows. Rochester shows up, surprised that Jack isn’t broadcasting. Jack finances Rochester’s date, buys balloons, hot dogs, and gets the cast into the side shows. Who ever said he was stingy? Tattooed men, fat ladies, Egyptian dancers, and more. There’s a problem, and a matter of pride when Jack’s tickets turn out to be no good.

You’re referring to Kenny’s song, I’m guessing? You could be right. I’ll give it a closer listen just to make sure. I have to admit that I’m not always familiar with songs from the era.
After double checking, Kenny never exactly uses the words, ‘Donkey Serenade’, but Jack a announces the song that way in the show.
