Responding to a shout on the abandoned ship, Clark, Lois, and Perry meet up with Nicodemus, and find the body of a ship captain. A foghorn sounds, and as he and Lois go to check on it, Jimmy Olsen is inexplicably back. The foghorn is powered by a madman who Clark has to fight off the controls.
As the odd man is tied up with handkerchiefs, Lois is creeped out by his eyes. What other strange things will our friends find as they continue to explore? A captains log is found to tell the last moments of the crew. What is the legend of the old man of the sea weed?
