Taking over as announcer for this special Thanksgiving episode, Jimmy Olsen is joined by Superman with a word on Thanksgiving as the only original American holiday, and to remember the troops, and others around the world who are less privileged, as we fill ourselves with food.
Out of ten people who have bought plaster statues at Kraemer’s store, nine of them have ended up smashed by a strange intruder. A man in a clown suit is spotted by Jimmy as he prowls around on a fire escape. Will Clark get answers from the man?
The man seems about as nutty as a fruit cake to Jimmy. At police headquarters a doctor is called on to tell if the man really is nuts. Clark suspects he may only be pretending, but its not his determination to make.
Might there bean accomplice? What’s so strange that makes Clark think there’s something fishy going on? Later, the doc claims the man to be crazy, but it becomes clear soon enough that the doctor has been an impersonator, and a body left in his wake.
