Superman – The Headless Indian 14of18. ep379, 421112

In the woods, on a hunting trek armed with a camera, Perry finds that he and Jimmy are being attacked by a bear. He does his best to save Jimmy, fending off the grizzly with only a hunting knife. Meanwhile, back in the lodge this is the first time Lois hears about the glowing, headless indian, and the curse that threatens Sebastian. Her cynical attitude responds with: That’s stupid! How silly.

Sebastian enters to tell that Perry and Jimmy went hunting, and Clark is now desperate to get out to see if they’re OK. Its a reasonable doubt, given the threats the Laugher gave to Superman about his friends. Little does he suspect their real peril in the woods.

Niles enters to talk to Lois, and invite her to go hunting with him. The pleasant, jovial, laughing man promises to teach her how to fire a gun, aiming at trees, and the like. There’s something about the look in his eye, but his laughter is infectious and disarming.

Elsewhere, Superman is winging his way through the forrest. Will he reach Perry in time? Jimmy is safe, but Perry fights to near exhaustion. Perry’s efforts are impressive. He would be taking risks if his rifle had worked, but to fight a bear, with his bare hands… no pun intended… is proof of Parry’s brute strength and toughness. How will he be able to rescue Perry, and still be able to save Lois from the clutches of the Laugher?

Note: If its not enough for kiddies to be taught to spend all their dimes on war bonds and stamps, now they’re being encouraged to join up with the Junior Red Cross. Doing all the stuff the Red Cross does.
