Featuring Claire Trevor as Mrs Dallas, and Randolph Scot as Ringo. A short journey by car today, was an epic adventure across Arizona in the old days when only a stage coach could go there. . A soldier, banker, a recently released convict, and a lone woman make up the party who travel together. The folks of different walks of life experience a touch of culture shock as they get to know each other on their trip. Along the dusty trail, there threats of indians. Add to that, the delicate fact that Mrs Dallas is about to have a baby.

It doesn’t take long for the baby to arrive, and Ringo, the ex-convict gets to know the woman a little better. Is there hope for fitting himself back into respectable society? What hidden past does Dallas try to hide? Past lives come back to haunt, and Ringo may have some hard choices to deal with. Raiding indians make their appearance.

In Lordsberg, the passengers, those who have survived the trip, prepare to go their separate ways. Is it the end of the line for Dallas and Ringo too? On his own again, Ringo has to fight his past demons to get back to Dallas but will it be too late?
