At the edge of a cliff, a dame holds Mack Weather at gunpoint, forcing him to jump. In flashback, we learn that Weather is a gangster and counterfeiter. Joe is an employee who has begun to question what’s really going on. People who start to learn too much about what Weather’s business is can find themselves not looking for new employment, but dead.
All Joe wants to do is settle down on the farm with his best gal, Julie. Joe seems awfully dumb in his doings with Weather, but soon ends up involved in a drive by shooting of a cop. Now all the bright dreams of a life together with Julie have only a lifetime behind bars as their end.
Is truth and justice just a pipe dream? Joe is resigned to his fate, but Julie gives
Weather an earful. Her personal manhunt had finally paid off. She gets in close, then we come full circle to the cliff. Will Julie go through with it? Will she find justice in the world?
