Sherlock Holmes – Murder By Proxy. ep90, 330118

In this early radio series of Sherlock Holmes, the stories were often adaptations of the actual stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. In later seasons, the stories would be all used up, but the listening audience wanted more. New stories were written by current script writers of the time to keep the detective, and his companion Watson busy.

Today, and after a sponsor message, bodies are coming up missing from the morgue, and soon Sherlock Holmes is on a case to catch his rival, Moriarty. A close examination of the clues turns up some similarities. The cadavers are snatched before they can be embalmed, they also bear a striking resemblance to each other. Has Holmes figured out how to catch his man? Watson thinks his trap to lure the body snatcher out in the open is craziness.

Will Holmes get his man? Will he figure out why the bodies were being taken? Is there some dastardly plot behind the stolen corpses?
