In flashback, we join Don Wilson and Dennis Day as they wait at the lunch counter for Jack and the others. Bob Crosby and Jack Benny join them, and they place their order with the waitress. The guys wait for Mary, and we learn about a medical problem that Dennis parents have. Bob plays a tune on the jukebox as they wait. Dennis sings, Blue Gardenia.

They guys finish, and fight over the check, but I’ll bet you know who won’t be paying it. Jack walks home, commenting on what he’s passing. Celebrities in cars, 3D movies, and more. Will he get help from the doorman? I don’t know. Mr Kitzel is looking good with his deep tan. The girls in their bikinis had all the men looking like Eddie Cantor.

At home, Rochester has the mail handy, and a new article about Jack in Look magazine. Jack tunes in the Indianapolis 500 race. Instead, his spinning the dial gets him a blend of radio commercials and programming. The Sportsmen get in a sponsor message with, Side By Side.

Jack spins the radio dial, but will he ever find the big race among the drama, music, and craziness on the airwaves? Rochester turns the phone over to Jack, and he talks with Mary. She has had an apendix operation, and wants Jacks help. She also wants a favor to take her family on a tour of Hollywood. In epilog, Jack encourages attendance in your chosen place of worship.
