Chester complains about the dusty streets of Dodge City. He relays word that Kitty thinks there could be some trouble brewing. A gunman seems to hold control of a salloon girl, and won’t let her dance with any of the other patrons. Matt comes to Tacetta’s rescue, and diffuses the situation by cconfiscating their guns. Next morning, Kitty delivers a report that Tacetta is missing. Did she leave with Dorgen under her own free will? What is it to Matt? He can’t police the personal problems of ebvery citezen in town. Still, he rounds up a posse to check on the girls welfare, by chasing after the stage she left on.
After Tacetta is returned to town, things seem back to normal. Then Chester and Matt find her would be suiter, Dorgen, dead in the jail cell. Who did it, and why?
Rivals, Horn and Watson, are Matt’s focus for justice. It doesn’t take long for a gun fight to break out over the salloon girl. Matt missed the action, but it weighs heavy on Chester, and his involvement in the ordeal. Now Matt has to stop the gunman before he strikes again. Will the washed up gunman be a problem?
