Doc Sixgun – Colonel Crown Is a Mad Man. ep5, 540930

On the trail, Doc Sixgun finds a soldier who has been beaten, and left in the sun. The man had been a prisoner, deserted, and collapsed where doc found him. Has the Colonel gone mad? What will become of the deserter if he should be returned to his unit? Doc goes to talk to Col Crown to see if the accusations of abuse are true. Accepting the job of filling as camp0 physician, doc stays on.

Are the Apache’s on the warpath? Is this the reason for the heightened disciplinary actions? There’s a line between tough training, and pushing the troops to the point of death.

Medical findings support the truth of the beating and abuse, but the colonel refuses to discipline Sgt Brock. Can Doc wake up the paranoid officer that there are no indians within a thousand miles of the fort? Will the commander at Fort Dodge be able to intervene, and remove Col Crown from command? Things look bad for doc when he’s arrested for undermining the commander’s authority. The troop rides out to fight it out with the imaginary Apache’s. What will the dillusional Col Crown think when he finds nothing? he is going to find there’s no indians… right?
