A thunderstorm is rolling into town. It seems to be an ideal setting to dump a body.
A doctor approaches Boston Blackie about the body that was found, and apparently killed by lightning. It may be the perfect murder, but when another murder that’s less than perfect is committed, the killers have both Farraday and Blackie after them.
Not a huge mystery as to who the killers are, but a matter of how to prove it, and get past their airtight alibi. And what’s the deal with using lightning as a murder weapon? Using the alibi of the killer, Blackie turns it against them. Things get even more juicy when the criminals turn against each other.
