Lois and Clark manage their own escapes, and urgently begin their quest. Both return to lurking in the room occupied by the Smith’s, but soon Superman has to act fast to rescue a falling Lois. Will Clark be caught, and have to explain the presense of Superman? Nope, just another lame explanation about landing on a pile of pillows.
Elsewhere, the Smith’s have the doctor drugged. Will he be under their power, and do their bidding? The papers they want him to sing will give them full control over his latest invention.
