Audio is a little staticky, even after improvements.
Uncle Fletcher tries to get Sade to remember an acquaintance from back home. He goes into great detail, but Sade doesn’t recall them. Fletcher then goes on a tangent about carrying keys. What is it about that? Rush is impressed by people who carry a lot of keys. Fletcher goes on about how keys impress people, and command respect.
Vic tries to distract the stories with a round of Rummy, and Sade offers popcorn, but Fletcher is on a roll. Join in and listen to the parade of zany characters and situations as Uncle Fletcher rattles it all off.
Jimbo Mason has this to add:
Uncle Fletcher is visiting the Gooks and he has a few stories to tell – but these aren’t the ones that will put everyone to sleep! The stories he tells in this episode are perhaps the all-time greats of the series!
The sound is really not great in this episode and that’s a terrible shame because this may be the funniest of all of the episodes; certainly it’s in the top 5. Uncle Fletcher’s stories are outrageous. While far from perfect, the sound does improve after about the first minute and a half. I fixed it the best I could but some episodes, it’s almost useless.
