Besides the travel adventures as they prepare to board the train, Judy and Geranium talk about the city drivers and traffic. at the train station, Mel Blanc gets to call the train departures, similar to the routine from the Jack Benny show. Pedro is in your face to talk about scouting for girls, and tells about a mishap in packing his luggage.

Still travelling cross country, Judy talks with Mel Blanc as a Texan who is a travelling salesman. After more flirtations in the dining car, Judy sings, Waiting for My Train to Come In.

Now in New York, and in a cab, Judy and Geranium talk about men as Minirva Pious drives them around. Trying to get settled in, Judy makes the rounds to look for a hotel room. Will she ever find a place?

Dedicating a song to returning veterans who are seeing their babies for the first time, Judy sings, Go to Sleepy Little Baby.
