On a cold, blustery, winter day, Fibber and Molly take comfort cuddled up next to the firepace. It’s the kind of storm that makes polar bears look for warm ice. Doc Gamble still makes the effort to pop in for a housecall, and advice for Molly’s sore throat. Doing a good deed, and delivering a post card to Fibber, Doc is suspected of getting old and soft. To prove otherwise, the two friends swap insults like an old married couple. Billy Mills and the orchestra play, It’s a Pity to Say Goodnight.
Braving the storm to see what’s waiting for him at the post office, Fibber has trouble finding his way. He stops in at Wallace Wimple’s to warm up to learn that his big old wife, Sweetie Face is out in the storm. Where did she go? Isn’t Wallace worried? Back in the cold, Fibber finds shelter in a warehouse where Harlowe Wilcox is located, and selling his wares over the phone.
Fibber continues his trek to the post office, but instead finds the drugstore where he plays a little pinball. Mayor Latrivia joins him, but can he help Fibber with getting his postcard with a little more ease? The Kingsmen sing, Winter Wonderland.
Finally reaching his destination in the nick of time, Fibber finds the Old Timer working behind the counter. Will he get help, or just the run around as the Old Timer shows off his stamp collection. Will Fibber ever learn what the important package is that awaits him?
