Judy opens with a song, The Beginning of the End. Does Judy have what it takes to be a cover girl, and win the contest for Queen of the Rose Bowl? What do those beauty queens have that she doesn’t have? Aunt Aggie offers advice, as does Geranium. Has the plump house maid ever led a parade, or won a beauty contest? The talk switches to dating, and soon Pedro is on hand to talk about his love life. Will the mail man be delivering good news for Judy?
The Sportsmen sing, The Al Jolson Medley. Pedro continues to tell of a formal event that he wen to. Judy is still confident of winning. and goes for her beauty make over. As she gets her treatment, Judy dozes off, and wacky characters powered by the voice tallents of Mel Blanc fill her head.
Judy’s dream takes her to the Yukon, and into the presence of Skagway Sal. The men are hard and rough, making Judy out to be a much better prize in comparrison. The wild sourdoughs shoot it out in the salloon, in hopes of winning the affections of Judy. Will Judy still have a shot at the title of a bueaty queen once she comes out of her dream?
