After a manufacturing plant on a remote asteroid is broken into, Commander Correy and Cadet Happy are on hand to investigate. Was it an inside job? Maybe a brain-o-graph test will show some results. That, or a clue that is found in the vault that Correy and Happy keep a secret.
Forensics, and crime scene methods prove to hold the key in solving this futuristic mystery, but there’s still holes to be filled in if Commander Correy wants to get the whole picture. The meticulous plan is uncovered, but Correy finds himself at gunpoint. Will he live to nab his robber? Will the crooks get away with the business plans for the new inventions? Held captive, our heros watch the bad guys get away. How will they get free? The mastermind has overlooked one bit of information that leads to an escape, and a long trek across a Martian desert.
It’s a battle of will and bravery, but Commander Correy keeps his wits, and brings an early end to the physical danger at hand, even when others are having a break down. Imagine the surprised crooks when he shows up to arrest them personally.
