In the Long Branch, Miss Kitty is being bothered by a little man, and his huge but quiet friend, Bull. Defending her honor, a patron steps up to face the big man, but the fight doesn’t last long.
Chester runs to tell Matt about the fight with the buffalo hunter that ended in murder. Was it a fair fight? If it was, then why did Bull Hogan rush out of town? Is Casper, Bull’s little friend, the kind to turn his big buddy over for the reward money? Matt won’t need his help, and warns him to get out of Dodge.
Out on the prairie, the dim witted Bull isn’t a match for Casper’s six gun. It looks like Matt’s going to be out hunting for a dirty skunk. Is Matt bluffing when he gets a confession out of Casper, or has the big man actually survived the atempt at murder on Matt?
