Fibber McGee amd Molly – Thanksgiving At Mcgees. 571116

To economize McGee bought a live turkey for Thanksgiving. The reverse albino bird has Molly in doubt. And why does the bird say, “Caw, Caw, and not gobble?” Might Fibber be wrong about his bird? Will he have to eat crow?

Teeny talks to Fibber about the duck that she’s having for the holiday. What can Fibber tell her about the Pilgrims? Miles Sandwich sailed on the Wildflower, then proposed to his girlfriend Priscilla. Finally he invited the indians to his spread. Or something. I don’t think Teeny is buying it either.

Saint Dressing McGee remembers his dandy fashion sense of his younger days. This time he has bought the biggest bird the butcher had. Molly is concerned about having too much, and nobody to invite over and share the feast.
The shopping list isn’t quite done when Fibber gets more grocery needs from Molly. Fibber is concerned the added menu items is just making the holiday un-American. He wants to stick to the menu served at the original Thanksgiving. Where can he get maize, pemican, and wild squash?
