Colonel Marbury is getting up in years, and wants to see his daughter happily married. When Lieutenant Bart Benson, the son of an old army friend of the Colonel’s, arrives to help on the ranch, the old man is pleased with his work. Betty on the other hand doesn’t like him. The Colonel is willing to take the trustworthy word of a soldier when Benson drips news into his ears, but soon rifts plague the ranch, and even Betty is ready to run away to get away from the entanglements. Especially when word of a murder reaches her.

Can Betty break free from the murderous plans that brew on the ranch? Where can she go? Who can she turn to? Just as Bart and his loyal goons are about to grab her, the Lone Ranger drives in with Silver, to intervene with the wild horse chase.
